COVENTURE Fundraising Academy | Presented by Lisa Raleigh, PhD

COVENTURE is committed to assisting and empowering our local nonprofits during this unprecedented health and economic crisis. Fundraising is going to become more important than ever as nonprofits transition to operating in this “new norm,” and we are ready to meet your development needs and ensure your ongoing success.

The Academy is specifically designed for small to mid-sized nonprofit EDs and development staff. This four-week, hands-on, intensive curriculum will cover the A to Zs of successful fundraising, during Covid and beyond. Meeting (virtually or in-person) three-times per week plus a commitment of three hours of homework each week, this month-long course will teach you the science and art of highly effective fundraising all while utilizing your own donors, data, goals, and unique approaches throughout.

The course will include:

Week 1: Knowing the specifics of your donor math, fiscal goals and creating a custom map to your money.

Week 2: Focusing on your existing donors and qualified prospects by prioritizing and emphasizing leadership-level giving.

Week 3: Thinking BIG, learning and practicing the art of discovery conversations and setting yourself up for success.

Week 4: Making compelling, bold asks and executing intentional & impactful stewardship.

In addition, each week will feature a guest expert speaking on the corresponding topic.

The Academy’s first session begins early June and will meet Mon, Wed and Fri from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm (in-person at Coventure or via Zoom - whichever you prefer) for four weeks. The course will be limited to five nonprofit organizations and the inaugural session fee will be $1,500, including unlimited access to questions, personal assistance and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.

To reserve your spot today and be one of June’s five nonprofit cohort, or to learn more about Lisa’s background, approach or results, please contact her at or visit her LinkedIn profile:
